My commentary:
- I didn't plan to buy this book, but when I found it for 50 cents, I decided to go ahead and check it out.
- The handbook is mentioned a ton of times in the regular book series. It is nice that the handbook reveals a little more information about the "House of Night" world and gives you images to go along with some of the symbols mentioned in the books.
- Later in the normal book series, an advanced handbook is mentioned, so I wonder if there will be a follow-up at some point.
